The reason this website exists is simple. I spent a huge part of my A Level years creating these notes, and I felt it would be a waste to leave them sitting on my iPad after graduation.
About Knowledge Pool
I Was Never a Fast Learner
To be honest, I was never the type of student who could understand everything immediately after a lesson.
There were classmates who seemed to grasp new concepts almost instantly. I wasn't one of them.
Quite often, I left class with questions that still had not been answered in my mind. Sometimes I would spend hours at home trying to understand something that had only taken twenty minutes to teach.
Because of that, most of my learning happened outside the classroom.
I spent a lot of time gathering resources, reading different explanations, watching videos, solving questions, making mistakes, and slowly building my own notes.
Most of the time, I studied independently. I know what it feels like to struggle with a topic while everyone else appears to be moving forward normally.
How These Notes Grew
When I first started writing notes, they were never intended for anyone else.
I simply wanted explanations that made more sense to me.
As I worked through more and more past papers, I began noticing patterns that were not always obvious from textbooks. I found shortcuts, common mistakes, exam techniques, and ways of approaching questions that became clearer only after making those mistakes myself.
Many of those ideas eventually found their way into the notes.
Over time, the notes became less about recording information and more about collecting things I learned through experience.
Why I Decided to Share Them
After spending so much time creating these notes, I did not like the idea of them being forgotten on a hard drive.
A Levels are already demanding enough. Students have classes, tests, university applications, extracurricular activities, and responsibilities outside school.
If these notes can save somebody a little time, clear up a confusing topic, or make revision slightly less stressful, then sharing them is worth it.
If one student finds them useful, I will be happy.
If many students find them useful, that is even better.
Will This Website Stay Free?
I hope so.
I did not create this website to sell notes or make a profit from them.
The biggest reward for me is knowing that something I spent years creating ended up helping somebody else.
As long as I can keep the website running, I want these resources to remain freely available.
About Copyright
Honestly, I am not particularly concerned about copyright when it comes to these notes.
Download them. Print them. Annotate them. Share them with friends. Use them however you like if they help you learn.
In fact, every note on this website was originally created in GoodNotes on an iPad. If enough people are interested, I may eventually release the original editable files as well so students can adapt them for their own revision.
The only thing I ask is that, if you found the notes useful, please consider sharing the website with other students who might benefit from them too.
What's Next?
I am about to start university, so this website is no longer tied to subjects that I actively study every day.
However, I still remember how challenging A Levels could be.
If I discover a useful revision technique, a study strategy, or advice that I think could genuinely help future students, I will probably add it here.
Perhaps over time this website will become more than a collection of notes.
Maybe it will also become a place where I can share the lessons I learned along the way.
Thank You
Whether you downloaded a single file, used these notes throughout your studies, or simply stopped by to read this page, thank you.
I hope something here helps.
If these notes helped you, sharing them with someone still revising means more than anything else. A coffee is always appreciated, but never expected.
